Me and Drakes first date

  • Drake: And that's when I said first of all Barack, I'm mixed, but enough about me. I wanna know about you. *boops my nose*
  • Me: Well, I do not like the beach because I do not like sand or crustaceans but I do personally feel very connected to the ocean. I actually feel as if I may be mixed with mermaid.
  • Drake: That's so interesting. You are such a well rounded individual. Please, tell me more about you.
  • Me: I am very afraid of the dark.
  • Drake: A few years back I read a passage that said something like "You're not afraid of the dark, you're afraid of what is inside of the dark." I just thought that was so beautiful.
  • Me: ... Are you getting smart with me?
  • Drake: Not at all I ju-
  • Me: *loudly* Please do not come for me Mr. Graham I know what the hale I'm scared of!
  • Drake: ... that was extremely arousing and I'd like to take you home if that's okay with you.
  • Me: You pickin up the tab?
  • Drake: *nods*
  • Me: *puts the basket of rolls in my bag* Get the check.

Who did it better?

Current Emotions VOL. 1 Entry 1

I’m really fucking sick of listening to sad music and moping in the dark every time I feel bad for myself

fuck it i’ll just listen to Tyler The Creator and sit angry and write some emotional bullshit then hide it on the bookshelf

cause I suck at having emotions and I think things would be better I never felt all

and i’m starting to feel like the people who picked me up are gonna walk away and let me fall

and when when it gets late at night I start to think about changin

And I wake up in the morning thinkin man I’m gonna be great and - then-

I end up failin and I don’t know if I can handle it

seems to me I can’t succeed unless i’m tryin to mess up some shit

I guess I’ll sit until I see the sun rise then try to go to sleep

my therapist taught me to start thinking of my anxiety as my panicky friend
it’s working???

this is so cute omg

Woah this is super useful!!

For all my anxious friends out there.

This totally works! Some of us get stuck in the sense that we *are* our emotions, so they overwhelm us and we can’t do anything about them. When you give your emotion an identity separate from you, it gives you the distance to make better judgments about it, and to comfort yourself better. 10/10 therapy veterans would recommend.

just in case somebody out there needs this
